Our value proposition can be summarized in the following words:
All our solutions and services must prove to be
Optimized, Reliable, and Economic to our clients.
Some of the advantages of working with SRI are:
- High degree of technical and process expertise
- Ability to scale project operations based on client requirements
- 24 x 7 Infrastructure Operations if required
- Scalable, Secure, Optimized, and Cost effective operations
- Assured Security of Digital Assets
- Quickly scalable infrastructure
Our core strengths are a result of our processes, diligent implementation & monitoring ability, and collaborative as well as transparent approach with our clients. Our processes have been
developed out of our personnel’s vast software and services experience, various quality models, and industry best practices. Our strengths are focused in four key areas of software lifecycle. These key areas
have been chosen due to the influence on factors such as total cost of ownership, software reliability, and software evolution with business growth, etc.
REQUIREMENTS UNDERSTANDING AND ELICITATION
The significance of accurate and quality software requirements gathering in early stages of a software project is of paramount importance. This is the cornerstone for any software project
and yet most error prone and in most cases the one which is least rigorously executed. At SRI, we have a detailed and structured approach to understand and capture the stakeholder requirements, software
application’s technical requirements, and business requirements the software will cater to. This provides us with a 360 degrees view of the project, the application, and all stakeholder needs; including
stated and evolutionary needs; that have been classified, verified, and finalized. Our efforts to understand requirements go on to address:
- Key parameters and to create requirements metrics to help quantify, communicate and coordinate all stakeholder needs unambiguously
- Prioritize all requirements and determine their release cycles in accordance to their business needs
- Adequate and optimized testing based on requirements criticality, thus balancing between “too much” or “too less testing” thereby keeping within limits of the client budget
APPLICATION DESIGN
At SRI we architect application to meet business needs realistically within the expected lifetime of the system. Some the critical issues addressed by designs developed by us:
- The structural design meets functional requirements reliably and within acceptable limits of Total Cost of Ownership
- Creating an equilibrium between core and evolving business needs
- Using a combination of technologies and design aspects which make applications easily maintainable through business growth or contraction, replacement of application or
technology components
DEPLOYMENT AND ADOPTION SUPPORT
Whereas most software projects end with application delivery and signoff of the “Acceptance Certificate”, we consider it to be a job half done. We, at SRI, believe that the most critical
part is the adoption by the end user. The faster an acceptable degree of comfort in application usage is reached by the end-user, the quicker the Return of Investment phase commences for the client. To
quicken the application adoption cycle for our clients and end users we have dedicated teams, processes, and tools:
- Standard tools like online application help, tutorials, etc.
- Specialized and separate teams for deployment and adoption assistance
- Computer Based Training CDs for facilitating training
- Rigorous training procedure for application adoption assistance
- Facility for two step knowledge transfer of application usage
- Online help facility for clients in application specific website
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
The importance of good software project management is often realized by project teams. However implementing a good Project Management plan takes diligence, thorough monitoring, careful
contingency planning with defined triggers, and periodic reporting to various stakeholders to maintain transparency.
- Thorough planning at project startup with all stakeholder signoff
- Quantitative controls for project management plan monitoring
- CMM Level 3 compliant processes
- Transparent periodic reporting on predefined Project Management parameters
- Post project analysis report to all stakeholders
